Where can I park for the race?
Parking is limited, so please arrive early and carpool or boatpool. The Lake Road closes from Piney Point to Tame Turkey at 7:00 a.m. and reopens after the race. Please park along one side of the lake road and please be a good neighbor and avoid blocking driveways.
Where and when do I pick up my race number?
Early number pick up is on Friday, July 5th, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Lake Rabun Pavilion. Race numbers will also be available for pick up at the Pavilion before the race on July 6th.
Where does the race start and finish?
The 5K and the 10K are out and back courses that start & finish on the Lake Road in front of the Lake Rabun Pavilion.
Can I change races?
If you decide to change from the 5K to the 10K or vice versa or give your number to a friend, please let our race timers know. They will be located at the starting line. Otherwise, our awards will not be accurate at the end of the race.
When do I pick up my race t-shirt?
In person participants can pickup their t-shirts after the race at the Pavilion. Volunteers will check off your number and give you a t-shirt. Any extra t-shirts will be on sale for $10 (cash only) after the race at Hall’s Boathouse.
Can I walk with my child in a stroller?
We welcome kids in strollers! We just ask that you please line up towards the back of the runners for safety reasons.
Can I bring my dog?
We welcome dogs on leads! We just ask that you please line up towards the back of the runners for safety reasons.
How do I become a sponsor?
Click on the Become A Sponsor page, print and fill out the second page of our Sponsor Form and mail it along with your payment to our LRA CFO by May 31st.
